Candle Safety
Candle safety is extremely important to us. As every chandelier should, we conduct regular test burns including thoroughly testing our candles before they go on sale. All of our scented candles are CLP compliant. If you wish to view the CLP label before purchasing or ask any questions regarding the fragrance oils we use, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Always burn candles in a suitable candle holder, dish or tray to catch any molten wax.
Always burn candles at least 10cm apart.
To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn candle within sight and do not leave unattended. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
Trim wick to 5mm before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, heat/fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
It is important to choose the correct container when burning your candle.
A flat glass dish like the one pictured above is one example of a container that may be suitable, this will of course depend on your candle size.
It should be noted that dishes, jars or trays utilised from food packaging may not be heat resistant and may be best avoided.
Pictured above is an enclosed candle holder. The molten wax is caught in the tray below, preventing the wax from dripping onto other surfaces.

Ensure your candle is on a flat, level heat resistant surface and is not able to fall or topple over.

The above picture shows an example of how a small non-binary curvy booty candle may burn. Ensure the candle holder, dish or tray you use has sufficient area to catch any molten wax.
